[RELEASE] Beretta 92F 'Samurai Edge'

S.T.A.R.S.' finest for you!

I wanted to do this for a long time.

The infamous Samurai Edge from the Resident Evil series is now available for SMOD!



Background information

Features:
 - Ironsights
 - High poly view and world models (I had to split them into four parts to get them compiled)
 - An authentic texture
 - Useable by NPCs

Sadly, the model aims slightly below the crosshair when not using ironsights. I couldn't get $origin to work.

As always, make sure you copy/paste the contents of "add this into game_sounds_weapons" into game_sounds_weapons.txt

 New World Interactive - Model and base texture
 teknopanda - Retexture
 Lord Castiel - Animations and (?) sounds
 veteran_gamer - NPC firing sound
 Me - Model hacking, scripting, various edits

Thanks, it was quite tough to get it working as I intended, but I think the final result is good.

oh i like this one a lot

how many tris did the model have? i don't think it had THAT many to require splitting the model into 4 parts

i know hands have 8k tris or something like that, but the gun itself... i don't believe it lol

how many tris did the model have? i don't think it had THAT many to require splitting the model into 4 parts

i know hands have 8k tris or something like that, but the gun itself... i don't believe it lol
I had to split the gun and the hands each into two parts.

The gun has 11138 polys, 8562 of the hands/arms rig.

The problem was the file size of the .SMD's. EP1 SKD tools refuse to compile .smd's larger than 1.72 MB.

11138 tris for a 92fs lol those guys @ nwi are insane
