Title: [RELEASE] Simple DeathMatch mapadd script and cfg's

Very simple mapadd script I made today!

Installation: Just drag and drop the files into your main SMOD Folder.

Gameplay:Combine Soldiers with MP7's are attacking each other(You and other Combine)!
The demo map is dm_stad_final(Please tell me if u know who made it!!!)

Requirements:A working map, with nodes for NPCs, a Playermodel!

How to start the Deathmatch?: write into the Console "exec Deathmatch" (without "") And then "map dm_stad_final"
To stop the deathmatch mode(to play without getting respawned every time you die) write "exec RemoveDeathMatch" into the console!

YOU can use this as a base! Change the things u like etc. and feel free to use them in you SMOD mod!

Oh man this simple script you made simply ROCKS!!!
It's almost like playing hl2dm FFA but with gazillion weapons to choose from hehe LOVE IT!!!
The map you noded is simply one of my favorite hl2dm map. took me an hour or more to fully waypoint the
entire neighborhood for rcbot2 some weeks ago so it's quite a task to make it work for hl2 sp AI's.

Thx, and yeah noding can be very hard!I can remember one time I almost finished noding a big map!guess what, hl2.exe has stopped working!I had to do every thing again!!!FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

oh that's a bummer when hl2 suddenly crashes and your work hasn't been or forgot to save game after a passing a hard
passage.

anyway really enjoying this but somehow the map starts to lag horribly when there's too much dead bodies, guns scattered all over the map. disabling blood and all those gibs and gore effect helped but I need a solution how to make dead bodies and dropped weapons to disappear afte a few seconds...tired searching it out on those console commands but can't seem to find a better solution.
any tip for that?

Add a game_weapon_manager(s) via mapadd!

Ok.open your dm_stad_final.txt in mapadd folder and edit it like this:
Remove everything and copy/paste THIS inside and save.

NOTE:Untested!!!Should work but in case its not then tell me please.

didn't work. does it take long for the guns to disappear?

In hl2 last 2 maps at citadel the combines once killed and dropped their weapons it
instantly disappear....anyone knows how to script that?

No.The script makes that the MP7 only appears maximum 10 times in the map.Its not a timer.There will be not more then 10 MP7s on the map.


EDIT:MY bad try it now.Copy/paste again and then test it.

To the Dark Energy effect its made by the Gravity Gun.Theres no way to use it in another way.

I tough it is, cuz in SMOD Redux's Zombie Survival it says how many NPC's u killed when u died so it would be possible to show it ingame instead of how many NPC's are alive.But I cant help you there , because I have noexperience with LUA.

To your Ragdoll problem, use g_ragdoll_maxcount 8

Actually, it isn't down due to that. I got a DMCA on a Titanfall model port pack a few days ago and i'm just waiting for my links to be unbanned.
