Modding Subforum Rules
« on: February 13, 2015, 02:44:54 PM »

In addition to the general rules of this site, which can be found here, there are a couple more that you should keep in mind.

1. NO Spamming.
Spamming is basically you submitting loads of skins, each having a separate thread. If you have a massive skin collection you wanna share, make a thread where you submit them all at once. Spam also includes submitting tons of crappy skins one after another, no matter how long do you wait until you submit a new one.

2. Seek for high quality content.
This applies to releases, mostly. We don't want to see 5 minute recolors, or lazy ports, or skin edits or something like that - we strive for original content. No crappy skins either. Of course, the first time you do that it's okay, since it's understandable - you won't make miracles if it's your first skin ever. Second time is okay too, but if you don't learn and your quality doesn't improve, your submissions are going to count as spam and will be removed as such. Don't know how good your stuff is? Ask members by making a thread in the WiP section.
2.1. Don't use the WiP section as the Release section.
If you think that it's a good idea to release skins under the guise of being WiP, don't. They will be removed.

3. Respect content authors.
This applies to people that make the stuff you include in your skin/release. Basically, people that have contributed. So you need to add proper credits.

    - If we find missing credits in one of your skins, you will get a warning to fix them by specifying which authors you should add.
    - If we find missing credits another time after that, you will get a warning, however, you will have to find the credits yourself.
    - If we find missing credits 4 times in a row, you will get a cooldown period and won't be able to submit anything for a limited time.

That's it for now.
