wow! can't wait to play this.
just played css and god damn no iron sights, no sprint and cocking handle/shell ejection port on the wrong side... duh haha! well just tested it so my custom weapons wont have those pesky balck and pink checkered textures and stuff after some updates again by wonderful valve/steam.

I have added a new feature, AI players can now have random grenades which includes the normal HE grenade, AMN14, Gravity grenade, molotov, nail grenade, sign grenade, cluster grenade, splash grenade and my custom MS bomb grenade.

Also with the new mix of grenades that NPCs use is this little grenade of mine, you may want to turn your volume down!:

If I may suggest..for FFA...why not try script out some sort of gun game for it.
Most users here have 30 custom weapons so it will be really nice to have each one used for each 1 or 2 kills.

You know, this mod isn't actually really MP.

Rename it do SMOD: SP DEATHMATCH, to avoid confusion...like people download it expecting multiplayer, yet they don't see it, they uninstall the game.Just a thought.

This is possible to some extent. I will doing some tests with this idea in the near future.

Yes, that is right. LUA is a lot more powerful than mapadd text documents and I can store global functions in common.lua so I can avoid having 30+ 206KB lua files for each map.

Nice, I haven't seem many SMOD mods with lua involved. A request if I may, can you include a player load-out system? You know, the player picks a set of guns and goes to a map to fight with those weapons selected? I have a basic lua code snippet for such a thing if you wish to examine it.

Wait...You say this mod, wich absolutely dosent look like CoD in any way, looks like CoD, and that adding perks would make it not to look like a CoD?

You know, with console commands you can enable the kick and the bullettime if you really want to. I also agree with CL there, and the fact that you are trying to fix the game because "it looks like CoD" and yet you want an element of CoD added.

Have you played Farcry Instincts on the XBOX Classic? You touch an oversized vial and hear "PREDATOR!" blasting through the speakers. With that pickup the player moved much faster... not like CoD's PROH DURR garbage.

I didn't mean PERK perk I meant a pickup/powerup. CoD's setup is so repetitive and I don't want any of that polluting SMOD.

Did any of you see "item" not player?

It would look similar to CoD by just adding more guns, irons, and sprint. Throw in pickups and powerups.

I don't even know why I brought up CoD. If I ran the site I would have to ban myself for doing that.
