No Zombie Car Damage v0.1
by biz - bsnooch.com

This mod disables damage to your car from hitting zombies and most freaks. Run over all of them you like and your car will never recieve any body or tire damage. Vehicles will still take damage from hitting Juggernauts. Vehicles will also still take damage from zombies who hold onto the hood of your vehicle.

This mod *should* work for Story Mode and Breakdown.

Install:
Extract and drop the files into folder:
.../State of Decay/Game/scripts/entities/ai/

if no folder exists create one.

May conflict with other mods which modify the files:
armyzombie_x.lua
bloater_x.lua
feral_x.lua
freshgrunt_x.lua
grunt_x.lua
screamer_x.lua
swatzombie_x.lua

How to mod the damage values yourself

1.) Open the included file armyzombie_x.lua

2.) Find the following on line 10:
Code: [Select]
foreignCollisionDamageMult = 0.0, -- multiplies damage done TO vehicles when collisions occur; default=2.0
3.) Change '0.0' to whatever multiplier you like.

Examples: If running over an Army Zombie does 10 damage to the vehicle a multiplier of 0.0 would mean no damage

foreignCollisionDamageMult = 0.0 (10 x 0 = 0)
foreignCollisionDamageMult = 1.0 (10 x 1 = 10)
foreignCollisionDamageMult = 2.0 (10 x 2 = 20)

4.) Once you have made your edit, save the file and test in game.

5.) Each zombie type has its own file so you can make them all the same or have each value different.

armyzombie_x.lua = Army Zombie
bloater_x.lua = Bloater freak
feral_x.lua = Feral freak
freshgrunt_x.lua = normal zombie
grunt_x.lua = normal zombie
screamer_x.lua = Screamer freak
swatzombie_x.lua = SWAT Zombie

Hi @Biz.

Look i got a problem, my game folder is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Studios\State of Decay - Breakdown\Game\scripts\entities\ia", i make the folder "ia" after that and put all the files inside i run the game but the car still taking damage.

I think what is a problem of the Breakdown.

I know I'm new and resurrecting an old thread, but I can't really find the answer anywhere else. Will this mod work for the Year One edition as well as the original game?
