These are Unofficial patches for SMOD OUTBREAK .98b

Please DO NOT bother VG or any other staff member with support for these patches. They don't care and they will probably ignore you or even block you. If you have a question, ask it in this thread.


!! IMPORTANT !!
YOU MUST DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL THE CFG PATCH BEFORE YOU TRY TO USE ANY OF MY OTHER PATCHES. OTHERWISE THEY WILL NOT WORK!




CFG PATCH
for OUTBREAK .98b

DESCRIPTION:
** FINAL WARNING **
YOU NEED TO INSTALL THIS BEFORE DOWNLOADING ANY OF MY OTHER PATCHES!!

This patch re-arranges OUTBREAK's cfg files to be compatible with my patches and addons.
This does NOT change any of the default OUTBREAK settings! Don't worry.

Note on user_custom.cfg

Place any custom cvars you want in this file and they will override any of the default OUTBREAK ones.
This way you don't have to dig through Vets cfg's to change stuff.

IRONSIGHT PATCH v3
for OUTBREAK .98b

DESCRIPTION:
This patch will give your weapons Ironsights instead of the Weapon Zoom feature that OUTBREAK comes with.
Adds Ironsights for the Glock, Deagle, MP5, P90, G36C, SIG 552, Combine AR2, and Combine MGL.

This version also fixes the Deagle and Glock ironsights.

DESCRIPTION:
This patch will re-enable the Gordon Kick for SMOD OUTBREAK.
Make sure you bind it to a button in the Options menu!

BULLET-TIME PATCH
for OUTBREAK .98b

DESCRIPTION:
This patch re-enables Bullet-time mode in OUTBREAK.
Included are my personal settings, but you can edit them in the cfg/bullettime.cfg file.
Make sure you bind it to a button in the Options menu!

BETA GRENADE
for OUTBREAK .98 (any version)

DESCRIPTION:
This patch reverts the frag grenade (weapon_custom9) explosion to a version that was cut from the final .98 release. Explosions will not knock over turrets and has a pulse effect. I thought it looked cool.

I've had a problem with the 552, where the irons didn't display exactly. Still it wasn't much of a problem for me, thanks for the patches.

I've searched for a while, and cannot find the v.98b patch anywhere, due to all the download links being broken.

It was taken down, something to do with server traffic. I'm sure that something will be done as soon as possible but every ones been real busy lately so I don't know when it will get re-posted. It will be back though.
