How did you discover SMOD?
« on: March 03, 2014, 08:51:09 PM »
Not sure if this is the right section, but I'm just wondering, how did you discover SMOD? Where did you learn about it?

I personally found a weird video about SMOD: Redux in 2007, though I never got around to installing the game until one year later. No, wait, I mean trying to install it. I failed, nothing worked, so I downloaded SMOD: Outbreak instead. I don't know which version I played in 2008, but it was pretty fun. I installed SMOD: Tactical a year or two later, but I never played SMOD: Redux or the original one itself. They were probably they best mods I had ever played back then. Now its just not the same. Whenever I play SMOD: Outbreak or something like it, I don't get the feeling I used to get before. Every time the game starts I just wish I could travel a few years back and play it in that different time. Maybe its nostalgia, I don't know. The same thing goes for Garrysmod ZS.

Anyway, how did you find out about SMOD?

I found a LITTLE information about it by searching Google how to set my max health above 100 in vanilla HL2. I've found SMOD, a quick google search led me to believe those guys were talking about SourceMod. I was wrong.
