Nonstabilizing turrets - possible?

Is there any setup in SMOD 40a allowing to permanently disable turrets by hitting them so they'll fell and stop shooting? That feature which automatically picks them up is helluva annoying.

You can disable this feature by editing the mapadd of the ofending map:

"npc_turret_floor" {
"origin" "7941.5 1719.0 -255.2"  "angle" "0 2 0"
"stabilize" "0"
}
Setting stabilize to 0 will make turret fall down normally, setting it to 90 will make the turret always pick itself up

the turret stabilize thing is to prevent the game from crashing (in some instances) when they fall over. So it may be necessary in some maps, you just have to test and see.

You can also disintegrate them with the stuff launcher  ;D
