Going to be a lot of SMOD'ing!
How did you grab the ragdoll?Is that a scripts?

The current main problem is finding someone good at particle creation to work on a particle based gore system that will hopefully function exactly like the old system and then go above and beyond that.

Also I really like what you are doing, very sad what original author of SMOD is abandoned it, and didn't released source code of it to let other people keep updating it and adding new features. Honestly SMOD and Underhell prologue version of which was based on SMOD, probably the best mods made on the Source engine in my opinion, lack of arsenal in vanilla Half-Life 2 even compared to the first HL is disappointing.About ideas of new extra weapons, you can check my video from abandoned mod Alternative Way, maybe you like some of these, I like how author made HL2 Beta Guard Gun effect, and how he combine beta and episode 1 realization of Hopwire into one weapon, also author add suit mode on which you run faster and jump higher like speed mode of Nanosuit from Crysis, but it use battery energy, also I helped author with some minor stuff in the past too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LRRXRhuZi4
