[HELP] World Model Collision Error
« on: June 15, 2012, 06:01:33 PM »
Hello everyone!
I'm having problems with world models as when I've compiled them, I get a collision error with the model when it is dropped.
Here is a Picture and a video.

http://youtu.be/W_9ErVCJ-hM (Sorry about the video quality, I was in a rush)
Any help on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated as this error is preventing me from uploading new weapon releases and replacements (eg. the MP5 above which replaces the default MP5).

NOTE: This is performed on SMOD: Redux 8

Yes, but set it to the same model as the one you see.
Code: [Select]
$cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\BFA\dev_files\smd\weapons\mp5"
$modelname "weapons\w_smg_mp5.mdl"
$model "studio" "../w_smg_mp5.smd"

$cdmaterials "models\weapons\v_models\BRIGHT.TWINK.MP5SD\"
$hboxset "default"
$hbox 0 "ValveBiped.Bip01_R_Hand" 0.000  -1.500  -5.000  5.000  0.000  0.000
$hbox 0 "ValveBiped.Weapon_bone" -13.299  0.000  -5.976  28.580  2.310  9.364
$attachment "muzzle" "ValveBiped.muzzle" -0.00 -0.00 0.00 rotate -0.00 0.00 -90.00
$attachment "1" "ValveBiped.w_shotgun" 1.00 -0.00 -3.00 rotate 0.00 0.00 -0.00
$surfaceprop "weapon"
$keyvalues  { prop_data { "base" "Metal.Small"  } }
$illumposition -0.277 8.749 1.616
$sequence idle1 "../idle1.smd" loop ACT_VM_IDLE 1 fps 30.00
$sequence fire "../fire.smd" ACT_RANGE_ATTACK_AR2 1 fps 30.00 {
  { event AE_NPC_MUZZLEFLASH 0 "SMG1 MUZZLE" }
  { event 3007 0 "1" }
  { event 6001 0 "1" }
}
$collisionmodel "../w_smg_mp5.smd"
._. I love coffee.
