Title, trying to use a custom muzzleflash but it replaces the old HL2 muzzleflash.

Does your weapon have a "muzzletype" string? If it's a CSS style weapon, I don't think you can use HL2 muzzle flashes for it.

You can, by editing the .qc of the weapon after you decompiled it. You have to add some "event", I dont know exactly how to do this.
